I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University, Fresno, and my master's and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas. My clinical training spans a wide range of environments, including providing therapy and psychological assessment at the University of Arkansas Psychological Clinic, a domestic violence shelter, and a pre- and post-adjudicated drug court setting. For several years, I also co-led groups aimed at helping women heal from sexual trauma in a women's correctional facility. Additionally, I gained experience conducting neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic evaluations within the VA Healthcare System in both Arkansas and Montana. I completed my clinical internship at the Montana VA where I specialized in inpatient and outpatient PTSD and substance use disorder treatment, while also incorporating innovative modalities like equine-assisted therapy.
While my background is rooted in adult trauma and diagnostics, my recent clinical focus has been dedicated to conducting comprehensive evaluations for neurodiverse populations, particularly children. I draw on this diverse background to look at the full developmental picture, aiming to help families navigate and find clarity in a complex assessment process that can often feel overwhelming. I also find immense value in the collaborative, ongoing journey of therapy, which I view as a powerful gateway for people to deepen their self-understanding, process complex life transitions, and develop the tools to actively shape their own growth. My primary goal across both assessment and therapy is simply to foster a genuine sense of connection and provide an inclusive, supportive space where individuals and families feel deeply seen, heard, and valued.
When I am not at work, I am busy exploring a limitless list of hobbies which never stops growing! I love spending time in the mountains and near the water, camping, reading, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with my dog and my six cats (and don’t forget the chickens and guinea pigs). As a creator who loves working with my hands, I'm usually diving into beadwork, resin art, journaling, painting, or tending to my aquariums and collections of crystals, bones, and over 100 houseplants.
