Kelline Hiday, Psy.D.
RPT PSY 33455 Clinical Supervisor
I am a clinical child and adolescent psychologist and registered play therapist. I received my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University while simultaneously completing a certification in Infant/ Preschooler Mental Health. I additionally hold a master’s degree in professional Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling and am a Registered Play Therapist.
I treat children, adolescents, and young adults who present with emotional problems, working with those who suffer from anxiety, depression, and other more complex mental disorders. I have specific skills in assessing, intervening, and providing parenting support to those who are diagnosed with various neurodiverse conditions, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention- Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, and other complex presentations of neurodiversity. I am certified in parent/ infant mental health and believe in empowering parents and parent advocacy as a way of supporting children.
My clinical experiences range from supporting women domestic violence survivors and their children, to working as a mental health consultant for a federally- funded early-intervention preschool, providing school-based mental health services to staff, students and their respective family members, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic services within various private practice settings. I have experience performing psychological assessments, including both cognitive and academic skill-based assessments, in conjunction with both the local regional center and local non-profit early intervention agencies. I serve as an expert witness for the local juvenile court system in regard to juvenile competency to stand trial. Further, I hold special interest in assessing the more subtle and less stereotypical presentations of neurodiversity, to include ADHD, Autism, and Autism with a demand avoidance profile (PDA).
In my free time, I love being outside on sunny days and snuggled up in front of a fire with my pets on cold days. I love running and doing yoga. While I also try to garden, I’m really good at forgetting to water my plants, which they do not appreciate.
While Dr. Hiday provides her expertise as a supervisor in our office, she also has her own private practice and can be reached directly here:
